SAN ANGELO, TX — Shriners Children’s is partnering with Shannon Health to open a pediatric specialty clinic in San Angelo.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at Shannon Clinic Knickerbocker, 3555 Knickerbocker Road.
Shriners Children’s is a network of nonprofit hospitals that helps children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
The clinic will reduce West Texans’ travel to access Shriners Children’s services. Currently, the closest Shriners location to San Angelo is in Galveston.
