Stephenville Woman Killed in Crash on US 67 Near Comanche

 

COMANCHE, TX – A 64-year-old Stephenville woman died Friday in a crash on U.S. Highway 67, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened just before 1 p.m. on Feb. 7, about four miles west of Comanche. DPS stated that Lynn Harrison was driving a 2017 Buick Enclave westbound when she veered across the median and into eastbound lanes, striking a parked semi-truck on the shoulder.

Harrison, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. She was pronounced deceased at 1:40 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Johnnie Conine.

The driver of the parked 2016 Mack truck-tractor, 67-year-old Jerry Wayne Pack of Stephenville, was not injured.

DPS stated that weather and road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.
