SAN ANGELO, TX – A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect across West Central Texas this morning as wind chill values plummet to as low as 8 degrees.
The advisory, issued by the National Weather Service, lasts until 9 a.m.
Sunny skies are expected today with a high near 47 degrees, but the cold temperatures will persist tonight, with lows around 23 degrees.
Temperatures are forecast to gradually rise, with highs reaching the 50s on Thursday and Friday.
A brief warming trend is expected into Saturday, with highs in the 60s, but another cold front early next week is expected to bring cooler weather once again.
