MIDLAND, TX — Investigators with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office recovered more than $300,000 worth of stolen property on January 14 during an investigation into theft on the 3800 block of SCR 1223 1/2 in Midland County.
Authorities located stolen oilfield tools, vehicles, trailers, UTVs, generators, and red-dyed diesel fuel, which had been reported missing by multiple victims. The discovery followed a collaborative effort by the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions.
Two suspects, Yasmani Rodriguez-Bejerano, 35, and Humberto Diaz Vazquez, 41, were arrested in connection with the theft. Both individuals face charges of Theft of Property over $300,000 and have been booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
