San Angelo Man Indicted on 7 Counts of Lewd Behavior with a Child

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A San Angelo man has been indicted for lewd acts with a teenager.

In November 2024, Brian Garcia, 43, was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury on four counts of Sexual Assault of a Child, two counts of Indecency with a Child by Exposure, and one count of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

According to the indictments, the child assaults took place on July 26, 2020, and August 8, 2020, where he allegedly assaulted a child who was under the age of 17 for his own gratification.

In Texas, Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact are second-degree felonies that carries a possible punishment of sentence of two to 20 years in prison and a possible fine up to $10,000 while Indecency with a Child by Exposure is a third-degree felony that carries a possible punishment of two to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
