SAN ANGELO, TX – A low to medium chance of rain, with isolated thunderstorms, is forecast today east of a line from Rotan to Junction.
The National Weather Service in San Angelo reports a 20% to 40% chance of light showers and storms primarily affecting the eastern Big Country, Heartland, and Northwest Hill Country.
Temperatures today will range from the upper 50s to upper 60s, with lows expected in the upper 40s to mid-50s. Skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast, and north winds are expected at 5 to 10 mph.
For Christmas Day, conditions are forecast to improve with partly cloudy skies and dry weather. Temperatures will remain mild, with highs ranging from the low to upper 60s and lows in the low to mid-40s.
The rest of the week will bring generally warm and dry conditions, with another storm system expected Thursday. Rain chances for Thursday range from 30% to 60% across the region, marking the next potential for precipitation.
