The San Angelo Fire Department Pairs Up with FD International for Hands-On Training

 

Beginning today and ending Thursday, FD International will be working with the San Angelo Fire Department in several hands on training classes with special equipment designed by FD International, said a press release Tuesday.

According to the release, FD International is a one-of-a-kind training company dedicated to improving safety and effectiveness for firefighters worldwide. The instructors offer learning experiences through the Pump Operations class, THE Driver training course and Technical Rescue with their own portable tower. They also bring the class to the firefighters.

Additionally, State Firefighters & Fire Marshall’s Association listed FD International and it’s 24,000 members as an approved NFPA training provider for state, national, and international firefighters, fire departments & fire brigades including municipal and industrial. The company also certifies Fire Fighters, Driver Operator, Officer, Tech Rescue (high angel, confined space, trench) and NFPA 1081 Industrial Firefighter.

The press release also stated that FD International’s experienced instructors have taught and have been members of Municipal Fire Departments, ARFF, Refinery, and Nuclear & Gas Power Plants, Oil Terminals and Off Shore.
