Police Seek Identity of Woman Accused of Taking Cell Phone at Big Spring Goodwill

 

BIG SPRING, TX — Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman accused of taking a cell phone from a Goodwill store on Thursday.

According to Big Spring Police, an elderly woman inadvertently left her phone on a shelf inside the Goodwill store located at 701 S. Gregg St. around 12:50 p.m. Shortly after, another woman reportedly picked up the phone, placed it in her purse, and left the store without turning it in.

The Big Spring Police Department has released a surveillance photo of the woman and is encouraging anyone with information about her identity to come forward. Tips can remain anonymous, and the case reference number is 2-24-03490.
