Traffic Stop Uncovers Stolen Vehicle and Drugs in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A traffic stop on Friday morning led to the arrests of two San Angelo residents after deputies discovered methamphetamine and confirmed the vehicle was stolen, according to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.

Onesimo Longoria, 35, was detained during the stop near the 1000 block of West 19th Street. Deputies found 5.2 grams of methamphetamine in his jacket. Longoria faces charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.

A female passenger, later identified as Paige Daubar, 31, fled the scene but was apprehended nearby. Deputies reported that Daubar initially provided a false name. Among her belongings, deputies discovered 2.11 grams of methamphetamine. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, failure to identify as a fugitive and evading arrest.

"The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to protecting the citizens of Tom Green County through proactive police work and aggressive traffic enforcement," information from the sheriff's office stated.
