TGCSO Arrests San Angelo Man for Possession of Lewd Images of Children

SAN ANGELO, TX— A San Angelo man has been arrested for possessing lewd images of children.

Information released by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office says, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of Cyndi Lane, San Angelo.

Items of evidence were seized in conjunction with a Child Pornography Investigation that was initiated after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which was received on October 15, 2024.

A forensic search was conducted on some of the items seized during the search warrant. This search developed probable cause, which was used to obtain arrest warrants for Albert Olivera, 63, of San Angelo.

On November 21, 2024, Albert Olivera was located and taken into custody without incident. He is currently incarcerated in the Tom Green County Jail on six counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

This remains an open investigation and further charges may be forthcoming.
