SAN ANGELO, TX — A cold front is moving into West Central Texas, bringing overnight lows to the upper 30s and clear skies, the National Weather Service reported early Tuesday.
San Angelo can expect a low of. around 40 degrees Tuesday night, while surrounding towns such as Big Lake and Sterling City will dip to 36 degrees. Winds will remain light, at less than 10 mph, providing calm but chilly conditions.
The region will see near-freezing temperatures in some areas Thursday morning, with lows potentially falling just below 32 degrees. However, most locations are expected to remain above freezing throughout the week.
Daytime highs will gradually increase, starting in the low 60s midweek and reaching the low 80s by Sunday. San Angelo is forecast to climb from a high of 62 degrees on Wednesday to 80 degrees over the weekend.
Dry conditions are expected to continue, offering a stable weather pattern for the week. Residents should prepare for cooler mornings and a warming trend heading into the weekend.
