SAN ANGELO, TX - Angelo State University will present its third annual Fall Undergraduate and Graduate Research Symposium on Friday, Nov. 8, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.
The symposium will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the University Center's C.J. Davidson Conference Center and is open and free to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Both undergraduate and graduate students will present their research projects at the symposium. The projects were selected through a competitive application process, and participating students will be available to discuss their projects that were completed under the supervision of faculty mentors.
The symposium will feature 17 research poster exhibitions and presentations by ASU students representing academic departments across campus, including:
- Accounting, Economics and Finance
- Agriculture
- Biology
- Computer Science
- English and Modern Languages
- Health Science Professions
- Management and Marketing
- Mathematics
- Physical Therapy
- Psychology
The purpose of the symposium is to recognize students' contributions to the universal body of knowledge through their research and creative endeavors. It also provides student interaction with community members who are interested in research activities on campus. The symposium is sponsored by ASU's Student Research and Creative Endeavor Initiative and College of Graduate Studies and Research.
