Ozona's Daniels Nominated for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week

OZONA, TX — Ozona's Michael Daniels is one of 10 players around the state who has been nominated for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week.

The award is presented by TexasFootball.com, where you can vote for the best performance.

In last week's 53-20 win over Colorado City, Daniels had 15 carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns, along with nine catches for 164 yards and four TDs. He also had 14 tackles on defense.

Midland High running back Elijah McCoy was also nominated for the award after he rushed for 354 yards and seven TDs against San Angelo Central last week.
