Christoval Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash; Husband Charged with Intoxication Manslaughter

BROWNWOOD, TX — A Christoval man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after his wife was killed in a motorcycle crash northwest of Brownwood on Friday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Andrew Peternell Vidovich II, 35, was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson westbound on Farm to Market Road 3021 around 5:30 p.m. when he veered off the road, ejecting both himself and his significant other, Marti Jolene Vidovich, 35, from the vehicle. Marti Vidovich was pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Ted Perez just before 6 p.m.

Andrew Vidovich, who was found to be intoxicated, and sustained non-incapacitating injuries, was treated at Hendrick Hospital in Brownwood, and later arrested. He now faces intoxication manslaughter charges and was taken to the Brown County Jail.

The weather was clear, and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. Both individuals were wearing helmets.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established to support the family, click here for that.
