GALLERY: San Angelo Central Holds Out-Of-This-World Homecoming Parade

SAN ANGELO, TX — Central High School held its annual homecoming parade in the parking lot of San Angelo Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024.

Each sports team and student organization decorated their floats to fit with the outer space-themed parade.

There were plenty of sightings of aliens, astronauts, and characters from movies such as Star Wars, Men in Black and Toy Story.

After the parade, people poured into the stadium for a pep rally.

Central's homecoming football game will be against Waco High at 7 p.m. Friday at San Angelo Stadium. For more on that game, check out our preview story here:
