SAN ANGELO, TX — Fort Concho’s haunted attractions wrap up this weekend with a murder mystery game.
Visitors have their last chance to join “A Murder at Fort Concho” on Oct. 18 and 19, offering a night of suspense and intrigue in the fort’s historic setting.
Step back in time to 1874 and become part of the mystery as you work to solve the murder of C.A. Daver. Similar to the classic board game “Clue,” participants will receive an orientation and clue sheet at the Visitor Center in Barracks 1 before setting out to question historical figures and search for clues across the fort’s haunted buildings. The last group will be briefed and sent out by 9:15 p.m., and the event concludes at 10 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for Fort Concho members (with membership card). Physical tickets are required for entry and can be purchased in person at the Fort Concho Barracks 1/Sutler store, located at 630 S. Oakes, or by phone at 325-657-4444 with Visa/Mastercard. No online ticket sales are available, and tickets will also be sold at the door until 9:15 p.m. Cold water and light snacks will be provided.
This event is open to all ages, though an adult must accompany children under 17. Please note that no vendors will be present, and Fort Concho urges visitors to avoid buying tickets or sending money to anyone claiming to sell vendor spots online due to potential scams.
