SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service in San Angelo reports that scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected today across the region, with high temperatures reaching the upper 80s to low 90s. South winds of 5 to 10 mph will accompany the storms.
Today, according to NWS, expect patchy fog before 10 a.m. with mostly cloudy conditions, then gradually becoming sunny throughout the day with a high near 89. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Looking ahead, the extended forecast shows cool mornings and mostly sunny conditions for the remainder of the week.
Starting Wednesday, isolated morning showers are possible, particularly in southeastern counties. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-80s, with northeast winds between 5 to 15 mph.
By Thursday and through the weekend, temperatures are expected to drop further in the mornings, with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s, while highs remain in the mid to upper 80s. The weekend will continue to see clear skies and minimal weather impacts. Northerly winds will range between 5 to 10 mph.
