Two Children Injured in Wild Wood Apartments Fire, Building Evacuated

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A structure fire at the Wild Wood Apartments has been extinguished, though residents are being evacuated as a precaution.

It happened around midnight and according to initial reports, two children sustained burns after "playing with fire."

Emergency responders remain on the scene, ensuring the building is safe. The condition of the children has not been disclosed, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Scanner traffic reported that there was smoke coming from a second-story apartment.
