Winters Volunteer Fire Department Chief Passes Away

 

WINTERS, TX — Mark Bridgeman, Fire Chief of the Winters Volunteer Fire Department, has passed away, according to a statement released by the department on Monday.

Bridgeman was remembered as a selfless and heroic leader who was deeply respected by his colleagues and community.

“Mark was a remarkable individual—selfless, heroic, gentle, authentic, and loyal,” the statement said. “His presence was a gift, and to know him was to have a friend.”

Bridgeman is survived by his wife, Yolanda, and their three children and grandchildren. The department asked the public to respect the family’s privacy during this time of grief.
