Baptist Retirement Community Hosting Bingo Night Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Walk

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Baptist Retirement Community is hosting a Bingo Night fundraiser tonight at 6 p.m. to support its team participating in San Angelo’s 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The event, open to the public, will be held at the Main Street Café, located at 903 Main Street, San Angelo.

Over 50 attendees, including residents, team members, and their families, are expected at the event, which aims to raise funds through prize giveaways, food, and refreshments for sale, such as nachos, popcorn, and candy. Proceeds will go directly to the Baptist Retirement Community’s Alzheimer’s Walk team.

Baptist Retirement Community offers various memory care options for residents, including memory care residences and independent living apartments. It also provides a monthly support group for family members of individuals with dementia and memory loss.

Residents have access to on-site amenities such as a pharmacy, health clinic, chapel, beauty salons, a restaurant, and fitness centers.

Baptist Retirement Community is a faith-based nonprofit located in San Angelo and is operated by Buckner Retirement Services, part of Buckner International. The community provides assisted living, long-term care, and rehabilitation services.
