SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo City Council will meet Thursday, Aug. 8, to discuss and potentially approve the sale of approximately 17.611 acres in the San Angelo Business & Industrial Park.
The land, set to be sold to LTG Real Estate Group, LLC, is priced at $25,000 per acre, with the exact acreage and total price determined by a survey.
This land sale is a key item on the consent agenda and could have significant implications for local economic development. The council’s decision to ratify this sale aligns with ongoing efforts to attract and support business growth in the area.
Other notable items on the consent agenda include:
- HVAC Unit Replacement at San Angelo Regional Airport: Approval of a $484,507.85 contract with Cary Services.
- Groundwater Testing and Monitoring: A $94,900 task order with CDM Smith for the Lake Nasworthy Sewer Trunk Main Project.
- Lake Nasworthy Wastewater System Improvements: A $171,807.31 change order for the project with McKee Utility Contractors, LLC.
- Community Accessibility and Connectivity Project: Acceptance of a donation from Shannon Medical Center and Angelo State University.
During the meeting, the council will also discuss grant awards from the Texas Department of Transportation under its Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Grant Program to improve the city’s accessibility and connectivity.
Public comments will be welcomed, with citizens allowed three minutes to address issues not on the regular agenda. Detailed public input on regular agenda items will be heard as each topic is discussed.
The meeting will conclude with an executive session to deliberate on real property matters concerning 72 East Ave. D.
