Congressman Pfluger Criticizes Biden-Harris Admin Over Release of 99 Terrorists

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11), Chairman of the Homeland Security Counterterrorism Subcommittee, issued a statement Monday condemning the Biden-Harris Administration for releasing at least 99 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist into the United States over the past two years.

According to Pfluger, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas failed to provide a clear answer regarding the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) protocol for detaining and removing terrorist threats who cross the border illegally.

"Secretary Mayorkas refused to give a straight answer when I asked him if DHS detains and removes terrorist threats who cross the border illegally," Pfluger stated. "We now know why: the Biden-Harris Administration released at least 99 dangerous individuals who match the terrorist watchlist into American communities in just two years. It took less than 20 terrorists to plot the attacks on 9/11 that killed thousands of innocent Americans. The open border policies of President Biden and Border Czar Vice President Harris put our citizens at risk."

Pfluger referenced a report indicating that the Biden-Harris Administration has allowed at least 99 individuals matching the terrorist watchlist into American communities between 2021 and 2023 after they were arrested. 

Information states that there are an additional 34 individuals in DHS custody who have not been removed from the United States yet.
