SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State Baseball recently received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) 2024 Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2023-24 season. The ABCA announced the team academic excellence awards on Friday, July 26.
To be eligible for the award, teams must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative academic year. This marks the fourth consecutive season the Rams have earned this distinction from the ABCA.

In addition to their academic success, the Rams advanced to the College World Series for the fourth straight year in 2024 and appeared in the NCAA Division II title game for the second consecutive season.
