Cyclist Injured in Collision with Vehicle in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A man riding a bike was taken to the hospital after colliding with a vehicle Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. when officers responded to a major vehicle accident at the intersection of South Abe Street and West Twohig Avenue, involving a green Kia Soul and a male cyclist.

The crash occurred when the cyclist, traveling westbound on the sidewalk along Twohig, failed to yield the right of way and collided with the rear of the southbound Kia Soul. 

The cyclist sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment. No citations were issued at the scene.
