San Angelo Firefighters Tackle Blaze Behind H-E-B

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Fire Department battled a blaze that occurred in a residence behind H-E-B on Wednesday afternoon, July 24.

Emergency personnel responded to a call for a structure fire around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Clark Drive and West Beauregard Avenue.

Radio communications indicated that smoke could be seen rising from the roof of the residence. Our reporter on the scene confirmed that smoke was present. Video footage shows the smoke pouring from the top of the house.

While no visible flames were observed, five firefighter trucks were on the scene. An ambulance was also dispatched, but it is unknown at this time if any injuries have occurred.

It is unclear what started the fire, but the firefighters were able to put out the blaze.
