This happened on Thursday, July 18, when detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and began an investigation.

Detectives located visual material on Daril Gonzales' electronic devices that depicted lewd exhibitions of the genitalia of children, according to the Abilene Police Department.

The 55-year-old was an employee of the Anson Independent School District. He also produced photographs for his "personal business."

Detectives with the Abilene Police Department are asking anyone with more information on any questionable contact Gonzales may have had with family members to contact the Abilene Police Department Detectives working this case at (325) 676-6614.

Gonzales was transported to the Jones County Jail. This is an ongoing investigation led by the Texas Rangers.
