Junior Catfishing Tournament at the Concho River this Weekend

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Concho Valley Catfishing Club will host a junior angler fishing derby on Saturday, July 20, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Concho River near the Art Museum in downtown San Angelo.

This fishing derby will be a land fishing tournament for kids around the Concho Valley aged 5-16. For any child who wants to participate, an adult must be present with them at all times. Fishing for the derby will be held in a designated area where the fish have been previously stocked in the river.
