Fairmount Cemetery Cleans Burial Grounds Today

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Fairmount Cemetery staff are conducting a thorough cleaning of the burial grounds today, Monday, July 15, to facilitate the property’s maintenance.

During this process, flowers and other items are being removed from gravesites. Residents who wished to preserve any items were advised to collect them from gravesites by the end of the day on Friday, July 12.

Starting Thursday, August 1, items may be returned to the cemetery, located at 1100 W. Avenue N.

Items left at gravesites are being picked up and will be held for one week, allowing residents to retrieve them. Unclaimed items will be disposed of on Monday, July 22.

Lot owners are reminded to place flowers only on the sides or in cradles on top of monuments to enable proper maintenance of gravesites.
