Train Derails in Abilene

ABILENE, TX — A large train derailment occurred this morning near Fulwiler Road and the Five Points Business Park in Abilene, Texas. 

This happened around 10:30 a.m., involving what appears to be 20 or more train cars hauling corn.

The cause of the derailment is currently unknown, and it is unclear if there were any injuries. 

Authorities are investigating, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
