Hot and Partly Cloudy Weekend with Scattered Showers

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The National Weather Service in San Angelo forecasts a hot and partly cloudy weekend with temperatures near normal for this time of year.

Saturday's Forecast High temperatures on Saturday will reach 98°F in San Angelo, 99°F in Abilene, 93°F in Brownwood, and 91°F in Junction. San Angelo and Junction have the highest chance of rain at 20% and 40%, respectively. Brownwood has a 15% chance of rain, while Abilene sees the lowest chance at 5%.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible, primarily near the I-10 corridor in the afternoon. South winds will blow at 5 to 15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.

Sunday's Outlook The weather on Sunday is expected to remain consistent, with high temperatures of 99°F in San Angelo and Abilene, 95°F in Brownwood, and 93°F in Junction. Rain chances decrease across all regions, with a 10% chance in each city.

The NWS highlights that chances for rain on Saturday will be highest across the southern counties in the Northwest Hill Country and Northern Edwards Plateau, decreasing further north. Temperatures will remain near normal, with highs in the 90s and lows in the low to mid-70s.
