San Angelo Firefighters Battle Noon Blaze

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Fire Department was dispatched in response to a structure fire this afternoon. 

This happened around noon today at a residence located at the intersection of West Avenue Z and Monterrey Street. 

A heavy first responder presence was seen in front of the residence with five firefighting units, an ambulance, and multiple San Angelo Police Department vehicles. 

The fire was extinguished by the time reporters arrived on the scene, but smoke was visible from the roadways headed toward the residence. 

It is unclear how the fire began and if anyone was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
