Restaurant Mysteriously Closes in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — What is going on with Pho Saigon?

The Vietnamese restaurant, located at 2001 West Harris Avenue in San Angelo, is wrapped in yellow caution tape with a sign on the door that says “closed.” One would believe the restaurant has locked its doors.

According to the Pho Saigon Facebook page, its hours are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on most days except Thursdays, when they stay open half an hour longer. On Google, it states the restaurant is only open on Sundays and closed the rest of the week.

Calling the number associated with Pho Saigon on Google leads to a dropped call, and calling the number on their Facebook will end the same way. If one was checking their hours from the Facebook number, the automated message says they sent a text to the caller, but a text was never received.

That being said, Pho Saigon could not be reached for comment.

San Angelo LIVE! reached out to the San Angelo Health Department due to the caution tape around the business. The Health Department said it does not know anything about the situation and they have not been to Pho Saigon in a couple weeks.

This restaurant always had terrible scores from the Health Dept.  Not surprising they closed!
