SAN ANGELO, TX — In a mid-June change of command ceremony, Edward Yale was named President of the San Angelo Rotary Club. He succeeds Devin Koehler, a scout executive with the Texas Southwest Council, who will remain active in Rotary leadership as the Immediate Past President, in accordance with Rotary rules.
Yale is the founder of Concho Investment Advisors and boasts over 30 years of experience in securities and investments. He holds dual BS degrees in economics and computer science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Texas, where he also taught part-time at the McCombs School of Business. His extensive background includes creating financial products and publishing analytical data for Equifax, Amherst Securities, and Bear Stearns.
During his term, Yale aims to foster greater community engagement, particularly with San Angelo’s youth.
The San Angelo Rotary Club meets every Friday at noon at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant & Bar, located at 421 S. Chadbourne St. Each week, the club addresses community issues in business, politics, and social concerns through a variety of guest speakers.
Club members also participate in fundraisers and service projects designed to bring positive changes to the community. The San Angelo Rotary Club includes many of the city’s business leaders and is a welcoming group for local business owners and those in executive positions in academia, government, or corporate America.
