SAN ANGELO, TX — Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries following a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Loop 306 Frontage Road.
This happened just before 5 p.m. when a driver disregarded a red light.
The crash involved a black Chevy Cruze, a black Kia Sportage, and a silver Ford F-150.
According to witnesses and the driver of the Chevy, the Cruze was traveling on the frontage road with a green light.
The driver of the Ford, who was heading southwest, reported being stopped at a red light at the time of the incident. The driver of the Kia, traveling northeast on Knickerbocker Road, admitted to running the red light, leading to the collision.
The Chevy Cruze collided with the Kia Sportage, which then crashed into the stationary Ford F-150.
Both the driver of the Chevy and the driver of the Kia were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Kia was cited for disregarding the red light.
The incident caused southwest-bound traffic to be reduced to one lane while authorities cleared the scene.
