HOLLYWOOD, CA— A new trailer for “The Penguin” has released online.
The next chapter in “The Batman” universe titled, “The Penguin” has dropped another trailer online. Set just after the Riddler, played by Paul Dano, flooded Gotham City, the HBOMax series will follow Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell, as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot, as he sets his sights to take over the criminal underworld
In “The Batman” crime lord Carmine Falcone, played by John Turturro, was killed after the Riddler sent Batman (Robert Pattinson) around Gotham City as he followed the riddles and clues left for him that led him to The Iceberg Lounge to get Falcone out in the open. There, Falcone was gunned down by Riddler.
Now, Oz will navigate his way to the top of the criminal empire. In the trailer we see Salvatore Maroni, played by Clancy Brown, in jail as he was Falcone’s fall guy. Also shown was Cristin Miloti as Sofia Falcone, Carmine’s daughter, who looks like she will go to war against Oz.

- Shohreh Aghdashloo (X-Men: The Last Stand, Star Trek Beyond) as Nadia Maroni
- Deirdre O’Connell (Secondhand Lions, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) as Francis Cobb
- Michael Zegen (The Sopranos, Rescue Me) as Alberto Falcone
- Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy, Army of the Dead) as Julian Rush
The Penguin is landing on HBOMax on in September 2024.
