SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo is set to commence the upgrading of water meters and testing of service lines throughout the community starting tomorrow, June 18.
Core & Main, the contractor hired by the city, will carry out these upgrades and testing services.
The contractor’s crews, comprising 8-12 employees, will primarily work in the street right-of-way in front of homes and businesses. In some cases, work may extend to the alley right-of-way, depending on the locations of the water meters.
Their vehicles will not be marked with a decal until next week, but all employees will be wearing a Core & Main hat and will have gray uniform shirts next week, information from the city stated.
