No team has come back from a 3-0 deficit in the history of the NBA Finals. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving need to have big games on the offense for another victory. Doncic scored 29 points, and Irving added 21 points in three quarters before they sat for the rest of Game 4.
The biggest difference in Game 4, as opposed to the first three games, was Doncic’s defensive play. He locked down whoever he matched up against and did not turn the ball over on the offensive side of the floor. The Mavericks still have a steep hill to climb, but never say never.
