SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service in San Angelo is monitoring a potential tropical system developing in the Gulf of Mexico, which could bring varying amounts of rainfall to the region by mid to late week.
According to NWS, the forecast remains “highly uncertain” as models show vastly different scenarios, from minimal rain to significant heavy rainfall.
Current projections highlight the possibility of rainfall ranging from 0 to 8 inches, depending on the development and path of the tropical system.
