SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting for the San Angelo Police Chief Runoff Election received 4,747 votes, according to the Tom Green County Elections Office.
The candidates, Lieutenant Mike Hernandez and Sergeant Travis Griffith are competing for the position of Police Chief.
The voting breakdown for last week is as follows: Monday saw 673 votes, Tuesday had 692, Wednesday received 641, Thursday counted 531, and Friday recorded 596 votes.
This past Monday received 734 votes, and the final day of early voting, June 11, received 880 votes.
Election Day is set for Saturday, June 15, with polling locations open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can cast their ballots at the following locations:
