San Angelo Police Confirm Late Night Shooting

SAN ANGELO, TX— The San Angelo Police Department has issued a statement regarding the shooting at East 13th Street and Volney Street.

Information released by the San Angelo Police Department said that one victim was injured on May 23, 2024, at a shooting that took place at the 1200 block of Volney Street.

The victim currently has non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at Shannon Medical Center.

This is an ongoing investigation, and more details will be released when it becomes available.

Last night, radio reports indicated that a 17-year-old had been shot in the back at East 13th Street and Volney Street.
