Dove Creek VFD Tackles Sunday Night Garage Fire

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Dove Creek VFD tackled a spreading shed fire that engulfed a garage late Sunday night. At 9:45 p.m. Sunday night, volunteer firefighters were dispatched to the 9600 block of Deer Lane located south of US 67 south towards the Irion County line for a fire.

The firefighters found a shed on fire with the flames spreading towards a garage on a residence near Spring Creek. They were able to extinguish the fire and by 11 p.m. firefighters were knocking out hot spots.

AEP was also dispatched to the scene as is standard practice whenever electricity is connected to the structures.
