34 Booked on Monday

Warrants accounted for the vast majority of bookings into the Tom Green County Jail on Monday, when only nine of the 34 booked were arrested on offenses alleged to have been committed with the last 24 hours. 

Some of the new charges included: marijuana possession, assault, car theft, DWI, public intoxication, fleeing from a police officer and possession. 

Warrant arrests ran the gamut, including several for marijuana possession, theft and failure to appear in court.

Thirty-one inmates were released on Monday.
