SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Belles’ golf team will compete in the 2024 Lone Star Conference CHampionships from Monday, April 15, through Wednesday, April 17. This year’s Conference Championship will be held at the WinStar Golf Club on the Scissor Tail Course in Thackerville, OK.
Ozlyan Juarez, Beatrice Grise, Laura Klimova, LeeAnn Parker, and Lacey Stevens will represent the Belles next week.

Last season, Angelo State finished 7th overall in the Conference Championship. Laura Klimova placed 51st in the tournament with a combined score of 233 after three rounds. Laura Ozlyan also played on last year’s team and placed 54th overall.
According to angelosports.com, last time out, the Belles placed 13th as a team at the Palm Valley Classic on April 5-6, with a combined score of 611.
- Juarez claimed second place on the course with round scores of 70 and 71.
- Grise and Parker tied for 61st with a combined score of 156.
- Klimova tied for 73rd with a combined score of 158.
- Stevens claimed 96th individually, with round scores of 86 and 78.
