Drug Dealer 'On the Run' Indicted for Selling Meth

SAN ANGELO, Texas — A 29-year-old woman from Eldorado, Texas faces charges after allegedly selling methamphetamine while on the run from authorities, according to court documents.

Nicole Garcia was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for the Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, specifically methamphetamine.

The incident unfolded on January 30, 2024, when a Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over a silver Hyundai Sonata traveling southbound on South Bryant Boulevard around 2:45 a.m. The reason for the traffic stop was a broken tail lamp.

Initially identifying herself as Bobbie Garcia, the passenger was later revealed to be the defendant, Nicole Garcia. A strong odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle, prompting a search.

During the search, a small plastic baggie containing methamphetamine was discovered wedged between the driver's seat and the middle console. The driver, identified as David Tirado, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Further inspection led to the discovery of a clear plastic cigarette box containing 10 white rectangle tablets identified as Buspirone, a drug used to treat anxiety. Garcia was subsequently arrested for possession of a dangerous drug.

A subsequent search of Garcia's person revealed a large plastic baggie containing a white crystal-like substance, later confirmed to be methamphetamine.

Upon being read her Miranda Rights, Garcia allegedly confessed to selling methamphetamine in various quantities for income, citing her inability to work due to being on the run from authorities.

Garcia was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on January 30, 2024, and has remained in custody since then on a $63,500 bond. Her jury trial is scheduled for September 9, 2024.
