About Last Night: It was Just a Run-of-the Mill Grape Creek Bar Fight

GRAPE CREEK, TX — According to Tom Green County Sheriff Nick Hanna, last night at 10:09 p.m. his deputies were dispatched to a bar on FM 2288 near the intersection with Concho Road on a report of a stabbing. When deputies arrived, they found a stabbing victim across the street in the yard of a residence.

Deputies determined that two men engaged in a fight and one of the two combatants pulled a knife.

Deputies with assistance from the Texas DPS investigated the incident and determined that there was no public safety issue. No one was seriously injured and before long, peace returned to the area.

Sheriff Hanna only could only reveal that the fight involved two males and the rest of the details are withheld as the incident remains under investigation. According to the jail booking logs, no one was arrested from the incident.
