SAN ANGELO— The Angelo State Rams baseball team got off to a great start in their series against the Lubbock Christian Chaps, 6-0.
The Rams got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second inning by bringing in a run. ASU then scored one in the third and sixth innings to go up 3-0. The bottom of the eighth rolled around and the Rams ended up scoring three runs to lock down the win, 6-0.
Now, the Rams have won nine of their last 10 games and look to continue their winning ways tomorrow in a double header against the Chaps. The first game starts at 4:00 p.m. then they’ll play again at 7:00 p.m.
The final game of the series will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
