The Elks begin serving fajita plates at 11:30 a.m., and as 2:30 p.m. approached, the traffic began to fade. There were many tired Elks; yet, they were very excited that over $7500 from the food sales and donations that day would be givien to Kennedy’s wife. Rooster's wristbands brought in another $500. The total amount raised with donations and food sales was $10,600.

Chili’s restaurant was on hand to donate an additional $5,000 to Mrs. Kennedy.

At the end of the day, the Elks served 650-700 people within three hours.

The Elks offer a big thank you to all of the Lodge members and volunteers who helped make this our most successful fundraiser to date.
