Friday is the Last Day to Vote Early in the March Primary

SAN ANGELO – Friday is the last day of early voting in Texas and San Angelo residents can cast ballots until 7 p.m. at five locations.  Election Day is Super Tuesday, March 5, 2024. This is a primary election for the Republican and Democratic Parties.  In Tom Green County, both parties agreed to hold joint elections which means all voters can vote at all locations, they just have to select either a Republican Primary Ballot or a Democratic Party Ballot.  

Early voting can be done at:

• Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building, 113 W. Beauregard Ave., Election Office
• Concho Valley Transit District (Bus Depot), 506 N. Chadbourne, Annex Building
• Westlake Ace Hardware, 1821 Knickerbocker Rd., Sales Floor
• Riverside Golf Course, 3301 Riverside Golf Course Rd., Restaurant
• MHMR Services for the Concho Valley, 1501 W. Beauregard Ave., Jack Ray Room

There are five contested locations races on the Republican ballot and none on the Democratic primary ballot: 

• State Representative Drew Darby is challenged by Stormy Bradley of Coahoma in House District 72
• Tom Green Co. Pct. 1 County Commissioner Ralph Hoelscher is challenged by Michele DeRusso
• Tom Green County Tax Assessor Becky Robles is challenged by Juan Acevedo
• Thomas Bigham and Gary Cole are running for the open TGC Constable Pct. 4 seat
• Tom Green Co. GOP Chairman Bruce Burkett is challenged by Ruth Staton

There are 13 non-binding propositions on the GOP ballot.
