SAN ANGELO, TX - The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the community for information after executing a search warrant on February 27 at the 4100 block of Ben Ficklin Road.
The search warrant was prompted by information received from the Colorado Springs Police Department, identifying Juelz Armstead during a child exploitation investigation.
Armstead, a 20-year-old resident of San Angelo, was arrested on four felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant from Colorado. The TGSO seized multiple digital devices belonging to Armstead during the operation.
This isn't the first encounter with the law for Armstead, who was previously investigated and arrested by the TGSO in December 2022 for Possession of Child Pornography.
As the TGSO lawfully examined the digital devices, concerns arose about the possibility of additional child victims of sexual exploitation.
Authorities urge anyone who believes they or their child may be a victim of Armstead to contact the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office or their local law enforcement agency, referencing this investigation.
Currently held without bond at the Tom Green County Detention Center, Armstead's case is receiving support from Homeland Security Investigations, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
The TGSO's outreach to the public emphasizes the importance of community cooperation in ensuring the safety and well-being of potential victims in the wake of such arrests.
