National Weather Service to Host Free Training in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The National Weather Service is set to conduct its annual Skywarn spotter training class in San Angelo.

Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 28, the training will occur from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center for the City of San Angelo-Tom Green County Office of Emergency Management, 8485 Hangar Rd

The class is free and open to the public, and there is no requirement for prior registration.

Participants will delve into the fundamentals of severe weather and how to report severe weather to the NWS.
